Custom Archetype LLC
Terms of Use
Version 1.0 · Last updated 21 August 2026
These terms apply to customarchetype.com and to anything you order from it. The shop is operated by Custom Archetype LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company, entity number 0013452945.
By placing an order you agree to what follows. It is deliberately short.
Who may order
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. Orders ship within the United States only; the checkout collects a US shipping address, and orders cannot currently be placed for delivery elsewhere.
The work itself
Every piece is printed to order on acrylic in the size and mounting you choose, and is digitally signed. Because each piece is produced individually, small variations in colour and finish are normal and are not defects. Screens differ from print: what arrives will be close to what you saw, not pixel-identical to it.
Prices, availability and tax
Prices are shown in US dollars and are set by size and mounting. The price charged is the one held by the shop’s own catalogue at the moment of checkout; prices are never taken from your browser, so a price altered on your device has no effect on what you pay.
Sales tax is calculated by Stripe from the address you enter at checkout, and shipping is charged at the rate shown before you pay. Prices and availability can change at any time, and a piece can sell out or be withdrawn.
Payment
Payment is taken by Stripe. Your card details are entered on Stripe’s own payment page or in Stripe’s secure frame; they are never seen or stored by this shop. An order is accepted when Stripe confirms the payment; until then no contract exists, and an order can be declined and refunded in full, for example if a piece turns out to be unavailable or a price was listed in error.
Commissions are paid in two parts: a deposit to begin the work, and the balance before the finished piece is sent.
Making and sending your order
Pieces are made to order by a professional print lab and posted to the address you gave at checkout. Production and delivery times depend on the size and mounting; the studio will tell you the expected timing for your piece by email after the order is placed, and again if anything changes.
Please check the address at checkout. An order sent to an address entered incorrectly cannot always be recovered.
Damage, errors and returns
If your piece arrives damaged, or is not what you ordered, email customarchetype@gmail.com within 14 days of delivery with a photograph, and it will be replaced or refunded at no cost to you.
Beyond that, because every piece is printed individually for you rather than taken from stock, returns for change of mind are handled case by case rather than promised as a right. Write to the studio and it will be discussed with you.
The artwork remains ours
Buying a piece buys the physical object. It does not transfer copyright. All artwork, designs, drawings, photographs and text on this site remain the intellectual property of Custom Archetype LLC.
- You may keep, display, and resell the physical piece you bought.
- You may not reproduce, copy, print, or make derivative works from the artwork.
- You may not use the artwork or the Custom Archetype name commercially without written permission.
Commissioned work is subject to the same terms: you receive the finished piece, and the studio retains the rights in the design.
Using this site
The site is offered as it is. Please do not attempt to disrupt it, work around its security, extract its content in bulk, or submit automated form entries. Content here is provided for information about the work, and may be updated or removed at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Custom Archetype LLC’s total liability arising out of any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. The company is not liable for indirect or consequential losses: lost profits, lost opportunity, or damage beyond the value of the piece itself.
Nothing here limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law, including rights in respect of goods that are faulty or not as described.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts sitting in Pennsylvania.
Changes, and how to reach us
These terms may be updated; the version and date at the top of this page will change when they are, and the terms in force are the ones published when you place your order.
